GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT TRUK BLUE LAGOON

Blue Lagoon Resort & Spa is located on a scenic peninsula at the southwest tip of Weno Island, Chuuk (Truk), in the Federated States of Micronesia. The resort features towering coconut trees, a stunning sunset view, a beauty salon, massage services, Sunset Bar, kayak/SUP rentals, and shore snorkeling.

During the pandemic, the resort renovated all rooms, repainted complexes, and re-roofed major buildings, marking its first overhaul since 1998. The result is a refreshed, tropical retreat with modern amenities: wireless Wi-Fi, two queen beds, drink chiller, desk, safe, flat-screen TV, ocean-view balcony, marble shower, twin sinks, and ample storage.

The Blue Lagoon Dive Shop, Truk’s first and most experienced, offers guided dives with expert local staff, plus Air, Nitrox, TriMix, and Mixed Gas for all levels of divers. The shop also sells souvenirs like T-shirts and caps. Visit to explore the wrecks and reefs of Truk Lagoon!

PROTECTING OUR OCEANS

Protecting our oceans can feel overwhelming, but small actions make a big difference. Whether at home or on vacation, here are 5 ways to support healthy marine ecosystems:

  • Practice Low-impact Diving: Avoid touching marine life and maintain good buoyancy.
  • Reduce Plastic Pollution: Bring reusable bottles and bags, and clean up plastic trash.
  • Protect Local Waters: Use reef-safe sunscreen and reuse towels and linens.
  • Go Local: Eat sustainable seafood and buy locally made souvenirs.
  • Get Involved: Learn about Marine Protected Areas and support them through donations or volunteering.

Ocean First values both ocean conservation and community. As a B-Corp, we prioritize sustainability by continuously improving our operations and giving back to the planet and communities we visit.
