West-Papua is without a doubt Indonesia’s best diving area and one of the best dive destinations worldwide.
With over 600 species of coral, a huge variety of colorful macro creatures and numerous fish species of all sizes, Raja Ampat is a hotspot of biodiversity – this area has been rightly called a species factory by leading marine biologists.
The Forgotten Islands are a more than 1,000-kilometer, remote island chain that stretches from Timor to West Papua. The islands, which were discovered by the Portu- guese in the 15th century, have always traded in spices. The partly volcanic islands offer some of the best diving spots in the Indonesian waters, which are still largely unexplored. Deep blue, clear water, endless reefs, spectacular cliffs, colorful corals, shoals of fish: A dream for every diver.
In between and after dives passengers of Amira Liveaboard can stay at boat’s salon. Amira’s restaurant has plenty of space for 20 guests and entertainment facilities. For those, who are fond of underwater photography Amira has a computer room, where you can edit and save the photos you took during the day. Guests of Amira Liveaboard can enjoy stunning marine views from boat’s sun deck as well.
The boat can welcome 18 passengers. They can choose one of the 10 cabins. Some of them on upper deck offer an amazing view, other rooms are on the lower deck, still cozy and comfortable. Each cabin has ensuite facilities, individual air-conditioning, extra fan, and mini safe.
