Turks and Caicos

Turks and Caicos is an overseas British Territory, made up of more than 40 small islands and cays. The eight inhabited islands are separated into two groups, the Turk islands to the east, and the larger Caicos islands to the west with the Columbus Passage separating the two. The islands have one of the lowest annual rainfall averages in the region, making for lots of sunny days and great weather. Most people fly into either Grand Turk or Providenciales and then you can either take domestic flights or ferries over to the other islands. With there being so many islands in the area liveaboards are very popular, and allow you to see more of the landscape above and below the water. The archipelago is situated on an expansive underwater plateau, making the transitions from flat sandy ocean to vertical walls extraordinary. On a dive you may see barracudas, a variety of reef sharks, lemon sharks, spotted eagle ray, stoplight parrotfish, groupers and damselfish to name a few. Whether you are looking for an adventure, or a luxury vacation Turks and Caicos will deliver.

Blue Water Divers (DI)

Blue Water Divers offers Grand Turk diving and snorkeling trips along the wall, as well as scuba certification and scuba diving lessons. Short boat rides, typically little to no current, excellent visibility and a variety of marine life are just a few of the additional attractions of Grand Turk diving. Blue Water Divers has enjoyed showing their guests the underwater world on Grand Turk since 1983. Three decades (!) of running a dive shop on Grand Turk has given Blue Water Divers the experience to establish fundamental operating principles which we believe enable us to provide a better service to our customers! When you dive with Blue Water Divers you will be able to avoid the crowds and enjoy the small-groups policy. They only allow for a maximum of 8 divers, per boat. Blue Water Divers believes that by keeping our dive groups small, we are able to provide a safer, more enjoyable personal experience.
